2016 St. Louis City Senior Champion
Congratulations to the 2016 St. Louis City Championship Forest Park Senior Champion, our very own Dave Estes!
Dave played in the Senior Division of the St. Louis City Championship this past weekend at Forest Park. He shot 3-under on 36 holes for a score of 68 on the second day, beating two other great area golfers, who tied for second place, by 2 shots. This is the second Championship win for Dave, the first being in 2013.
“This is a big surprise to me,” Dave said. “I have not been playing that often or that well, to be honest. But I played good the last two days. The (putting) surfaces here were pretty darn good. So if you could get things going your way, the surfaces were good enough to make some.”
